This is a very substantial mount with Dual arms and heavy guage steel. The arms extend over 20" from the wall yet fold to less than 5". Even at full extension, this mount has very little sag or twist. It is rated for up to 165lbs and most displays 55" and smaller weigh under 100lbs. The unit has dual tilt adjustment knobs and it will tilt forward or back 15 degrees. The wall plate is 19" wide and has wide slots making it easy to mount into standard 16" studs even if they are not exactly 16" apart. Thus, the arms may be visible on the sides of 32" units. The universal design will fit any display with a hole pattern up to 26.3" wide and 18" tall. The wall plate is 1/8" thick and very stable and includes a large center hole for cable pass-though into the wall. This mount will swivel approximately 150 degrees depending on the size of your display. Dual TV locking screws are included to prevent accidental liftoff of the display. Installation instructions and hardware included.

I was very pleased with the quality and construction of this and had to write a review for others ... since the reviews on Amazon helped me decide what to buy. After searching the brick and mortar stores (ie Best Buy, Walmart) ... I couldn't believe how outrageous the prices were for the articulating wall mounts ($250-$333). My 42" Philips TV was on sale for only $500. Why pay more than half price for a wall mount? So I went searching and once again Amazon did not disappoint! One third of the price!
After I measured and placed this mount on the wall, I was very happy at the construction and frankly, just the sheer weight of the thing left me smiling. It went in smooth and easy and hangs very sturdy on the wall (in the studs). It has PLENTY of adjustments for TV's. There are so many different holes and settings on this mount that I can't imagine or understand how anybody could have leveling problems. Even if you hang the mount incorrectly there are right and left tilt knobs to correct the level. I actually took my TV down and readjusted and it's been fine since the adjusted setting (3 weeks ago).
All in all, this is a fantastic, heavy duty, tough, well constructed piece of equipment and I will definitely be purchasing this brand again if I have the need.

Overall, I would rate this as a very good mount. It is very sturdy and I don't have any concern about its ability to hold my 55" Samsung LED. I like all the movement options - pull it out, turn it side to side, tilt up and down. A nice manual, a level, and tons of screws for different TVs came with the mount. My favorite feature is the rotation adjustment. Once you mount the TV, you can "rotate" it like a steering wheel. This makes it easy to level the TV. All Great. My issues were the following: One of the tilt knobs was cracked and one of the two lock screws was missing. The knob crack isn't that visible and If it were just a flat to the wall mount, I probably wouldn't worry about the lock screw, but since you pull this mount out and twist it around, not having that screw concerns me. Anyway, I am writing this on a weekend, after having finished the mounting. I plan to contact Cheetah on Monday about the parts. I will try and leave an update.

I looked for Wall Mounts to hang my 52" TV. All the mounts I found were very expensive. Then I found this one. This is as good or better that any I'd seen at local stores. The price is phenominal. Most of the mounts I looked at were much higher in price. This was easy to hang. Due to the mount's weight, you'll need another person. The hardware supplied was ok except that my apartment walls are an inch thick. So, I had to purchase 4 longer toggle bolts for thicker walls. Other than that, I had no problem with installation. I have a 52" TV. When the TV was hung on the mount, the weight of the TV did not move the mount at all. I am very happy with this product and recommend it highly.

I purchased this wall wount for my 52" Sony Bravia LCD which weighs about 80 lbs and it worked out perfectly. The cost was $69.99. First of all the mount that arrived was as pictured on the Amazon website and it is solidly constructed and comes with an abundance of hardware for mounting. I was able to use the 4 supplied lag bolts to go directly into the 16" spaced studs behind the wall. The holes on the back of the mount allow a deviation of from about 14" to 17" spacing of the wall studs. It was simple to predrill the holes so that the mount would be level and easily screwed/bolted into the wall. DO NOT trust the built in level or the supplied level (bubble). These are inaccurate and you are better off using a 2 foot level to do the job. Also, be sure to hit the center of the stud which will typically be 3/4 inches in width; you want to be as close to the center of that piece of wood as possible. If you are installing into a masonry wall, the hardware is provided.
I was mounting it between two built-in wall units and wanted the LCD to be centered. This was not a problem despite the fact that the wall studs were not centered. The mount allows some flexibility for this in the way that the mounting holes are positioned along with the fact that the LCD can be "hung" off center.
Once the mount is secured to the wall and the mounting brackets are fastened to the LCD, two of us lifted the unit and hung it on the bracket without any trouble. Tightening two "set screws" secure the brackets of the LCD to the mount and it is ready to go. One other comment on the supplied washers: I agree with previous posters that they are flimsy. You can purchase heavier gauge ones or just double up on the supplied ones.
My wife and I love the articulating mount. It allows the LCD to be tilted left/right/down and pulled away from the wall if desired a fair number of inches. When pushed back all the way to the wall, the back of the LCD is about 4" away from the wall.
I believe the contruction and strength are more than adequate and the only comment on that is that the front mounting plate that holds the LCD could be a tad thicker (heavier gauge sheet metal). All in all, this mount does a lot, is easy to intall, is well made with above average construction and has a great price. I would recommend this product.

I got this tv mount few weeks ago, and it is a good one. However, I really think the company can produce a better instruction manual, since it can be hard to follow sometimes. Another thing is that the hardware it comes with is pretty much useless if your TV is a bit larger. We had to buy quite a few things to make everything work.
