Overall it's a good concept and a fairly clean look. It held up some heavy items i have and didn't show any signs of stress. I do wish it came with more cord covers or you could purchase more that were the same size.

Over the last 30 years I have tried several different systems for stacking Electronics.... This system is by far the best ever.... Strong, Clean & Attractive, all with no wires showing (Very Little anyway)
If any downside at all was, It's a little tricky hiding the wires at first, getting the covers to line up....

I very much like this design as it can fit almost anywhere to any decor. I use it for DVR, WII and PS3 with all the wiring running in the trays both up and down. It's somewhat easy to install and there's plenty of room to run both eletrical wires as well as signal wires. I will highly recommend this product to anyone.

I don't know what these other reviewers are complaining about. This is a wonderful, well-designed, very attractive product. Installation takes time, but is certainly forgivable in light of the product's functionality. The cable management system is fine. I think one of the other reviewers didn't realize that the plastic spacers (to which the covers are mounted) serve a secondary purpose as the cable management system itself. The installed spacers create three vertical channels through which you can run all your cables. I easily fit three Fanatic Digital Category 2 HDMI cables in a single channel (good, cheap HDMI cables, but a little fat).
The only thing I didn't understand until after I finished installation was how the cables get from the channels to the devices on the shelves. They actually come around from behind the cover. Plan ahead to make sure you have just the right amount of slack and you'll be fine. And even if you don't plan ahead, removing / replacing the covers is a breeze. Combine with the Datacomm Electronics 45-0002-BK Gang Recessed Cable Plate (Black) and you're in business

Lets say that once installed and looking at what the finished product does is amazing. It took some time to install because of me being so picky. I have a Wii, PS3, XBOX360 and a fios box all on this AV rack and you can barely see some of the wires. It all depends on what you want it to look like. I could have thrown it up and still been happy, but I tend to be a little crazy about seeing wires.
Excellent product and installation wasn't bad. My new neighbors have asked were I got it from and are interested in getting one for themselves.
