I did a lot of research into wall mounts before my purchase. I have had it up for about a month now. I did take someone elses advice that gave a negative review regarding the quality of the mounting hardware and bought my own lag screws. I am impressed with the mount. Its easy to pull out and manuver. I like the double arm which helps keep it from sagging. I would recommend this wall mount.

I also (like other reviewers) was skeptical mostly because of the price. I looked at a lot of brackets that were in the $150-$300 range and they were not even close to the construction of this bracket. I was concerned it would have a lot of play and wobble, you could hang your car from this bracket. Let's put it this way, if your TV falls, the wall is falling with it. This bracket will NEVER fail. The only slight complaint I have is the up-down tilt adjustment is not easy and smooth. In my case though, it was on time adjustment and it stays in that position. Very happy with the purchase and quick shipping...would definitely buy it again!!!

This wall mount has a wall plate of only 19" it will install on one stud only, because of this there is not enough support. I have purchase the same mount from yourfirstbid with a 24" wall plate and a 300 weight capacity. This is the perfect mount at a great price. Give it a try.

This wall mount serves its purpose. I have mounted a 50" plasma to it and the full motion range allows an excellent viewing angle.
Be careful with the bolts when mounting the bracket to your wall studs. Per the included instructions, I properly drilled 2.5" pilot holes using a 3/16" drill bit. When turning the included 5/16" x 3 1/2" bolts, three of the four twisted off ~1" down the length of the bolt (where the threads end). Clearly a manufacturing defect.
The exact same size bolts purchased at my local hardware store had no such difficulties. I would hate for someone to think their TV is mounted appropriately and have it fall off the wall! These bad bolts may be an anomaly, but please check yours when mounting the bracket. The bracket itself is quite sturdy.

I just got this for a 42" LG Plasma TV. I had the luxury of being able to reinforce a wall that was open on the other side (basement rec room). This is a VERY substantial piece of hardware. Sheet metal is thick. Quality of machining is good. No rough edges or burrs...so...yes:
You do want to mount this to something uber substantial. But once you do...it's fearless. There's none of that "is it secure? Is my substantial investment going to fall down?" angst. It's a tank.
MINOR but (to me) NON-dealbreaking issue:
The comment from someone else here remarking / complaining about the front being out of true parallel alignment with the back plate - this is a visually fairly miniscule thing in my experience. It's true. Yeah it's there but it's not a big deal to me / barely noticeable if you do some install adjustment. In my case I "split the difference" between what the level offered and what the wall presented. (And I'm a picture straightener too).
The owner's manual has some slight pidgin English in a place or two but it's certainly clear enough. Good drawings. I could understand the explanations without furrowed brows..ya know? The accompanying fastener hardware is high quality. They give you four sets of screws for every possibly VESA mount size. They also give you four long lag bolts and some matching wall anchors.
This allows your TV to tilt forwards or backwards in a 15 degree range which is fine.
Overall a great value. It's as well built (possibly better) than some of those 150 - 200 dollar units I see at Costco and video stores.
